Jiwon (pseudonym) had previously experienced bullying and violence from peers. At the time, the case was investigated and formally concluded. As time passed, she returned to her daily life, believing it was finally behind her.

But recently, footage of that assault resurfaced online. Someone had recorded the incident and reuploaded the video on social media. It spread rapidly. Jiwonโs face was exposed again, and with it, the trauma she thought she had left behind. โI thought it was overโฆ but itโs starting all over again.โ Jiwon began experiencing severe anxiety. She became afraid even to check her phone, worried the video might continue spreading beyond her control.

Jiwon and her parents reached out to The Blue Tree Foundation (BTF) for help. After identifying the reuploaded content, we immediately requested its removal and blocking from the platform. The major videos have since been taken down, and Jiwon is gradually regaining a sense of stability.

๐ก๏ธ The BTF Digital Harm Removal Support Center continues to monitor platforms to prevent further spread. We provide one-stop support for youth โ from content removal to counseling and legal assistance. Digital violence doesnโt end when the incident is over.
