This month, we reflect on the history embodied in the name The Blue Tree Foundation (BTF).

Founded in 1995 as The Foundation for Preventing Youth Violence, at a time when the term โschool violenceโ was not yet acknowledged in Korean society, our name carried both urgency and purpose. As our mission expanded beyond awareness to systemic prevention, recovery pathways, global engagement, and youth-led advocacy, we embraced the name The Blue Tree Foundation (BTF).

Our name has evolved alongside our values and responsibilities, but our core commitment to creating a happy and peaceful world for youth remains unchanged.
