Is the webpage your child clicked on today really safe?
One casual click can sometimes leave lasting scars.

Today is 'Safer Internet Day,' observed by over 170 countries worldwide. 🌐

Promoted by Childnet, it's a day when we all come together to think and act toward creating a safer and healthier digital world.

While the internet offers children endless opportunities, dangers lurk beneath – cyberbullying, harmful content, and privacy breaches. Protecting them from these threats is a responsibility we all share.

📊 According to the Korea Communications Commission, 4 out of 10 youth have experienced cyberbullying. They are also exposed to digital environments for an average of 6 hours per day; yet, many children haven't properly learned how to use the internet safely.

Beyond just technical solutions, The Blue Tree Foundation is committed to building a digital ecosystem where children can grow safely through various initiatives:

🐘 Building prosocial capabilities to spread a culture of nonviolence and preventing cyberviolence, Cyber Jungle Guardian Blue Elephant (PUCO)

💬 Empowering youth to develop proper digital citizenship, Harmonious Digital World

🛡️ Ensuring deletion support and recovery for victims of digital harm, Digital Harm Removal Support Center

However, true change requires the collective power of many—it starts with the care and solidarity of all of us. 🤝
For the bright future of our children, we invite you to join us in creating a safer internet environment. 💙
